A Sneak Peak at Fall 2017

Wonder what Cody Outdoor Classroom has in store for Fall 2017? It is our mission to provide progressive STEM and environmental science programs to K-8 students throughout New England.

We had great success with our inaugural residential programs at our site in Freedom, NH on Ossipee Lake. All residential programs take advantage of our natural surroundings, exploring the water and woods, as well as indulging in our facilities where they enjoy healthy meals and overnight stay in our cozy cabins.

This fall, we are introducing new themes and lesson plans that you and your students will love! Below is a sample of one of our new programs.

Water is Everything!

For life, water is everything. It carves the landscape and allows us to live. This course explores the impact of water on landscape and how all life is dependent upon water. Students will also learn about the physics of moving water and how humans attain and use water for our daily lives.

In our 3 - 5 day course, time will be allotted each day for healthy meals and free play to explore our beautiful site on Ossipee Lake. It is a customizable program to suit your team-building needs, learning objectives, and specific standards requirements.

Watersheds and the Landscape – Earth and Space Science
